TREKKING:
A good starting point for hiking in the National Park is the National Park Information Center Ruhestein, situated on the Scenic Drive. Here you will be able to obtain maps for the tracks advertised on their web page.

Our favourite track is the round trip Ruhestein - Wildseeblick - Darmstaetter Hut and return. This track is suitable for our 4-year old son as well as for his 78 year old grandfather.
Throughout the year, the hut "Darmstaetter Huette" offers drinks and small meals. In the summer time you can relax outside in the Biergarten, where as in the winter, when you enjoy the track on cross country skies, you will prefer to sit around the stove inside.

Water Castle in Glatt with Art Exhibition Knight Exhibition and Farmer Exhibition.
The Knight Games in Horb every June are a must for every visitor. Just make sure you have enough time. At midday there is the Knight Parade with one performance in the afternoon and a different performance at night. In between, you can enjoy yourself in market place or the in Knight Village .
